The female staff at Cambridge Regulatory Services raised money for Breast Cancer UK. Karen James (Managing Director), Lisa Tietjen (Executive Director) and Zimna Wazeer (Project Manager) ran 5 km around Parkers Piece in Cambridge for the Race for Life event on the 4th July 2010.

The female staff at Cambridge Regulatory Services will be participating in the Race for Life event in Cambridge on the 4Th July 2010 to raise money for Breast Cancer UK.

The whole James family set off from Cambridgeshire at 5:00am on Saturday 1st September with Mike James as chauffeur and Abu Belel as coach for the three participants. Karen James and daughters Jennie and Emily successfully completed a 3km swim along the south bank of Windemere. The swim organised by Cancer Research was to raise money for breast cancer research. Close to £1,000 was raised by the James family, £70,000 was raised by the whole event.

In preparation for the main event in September, Karen James and her daughter Jennie (medical student and advisor to CambReg) swam 850 metres in the cold choppy sea from the shore to The Cobb in Lyme Regis in aid of Lyme Regis lifeboat funds.
